A leading financial institution is seeking a Commercial Relationship Manager to support and grow its Auto Finance portfolio. This position is centered on maintaining, expanding, and strengthening valuable client relationships while actively identifying and addressing related business risks and growth opportunities. The ideal candidate will have extensive credit training and experience in commercial auto finance, including credit approval responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop new automotive dealership relationships through proactive outreach and sales activities within an assigned market.
• Identify and negotiate new commercial loan opportunities and cross-sell banking products and services to prospective clients.
• Collaborate with credit partners to structure and underwrite commercial auto loans in line with internal policies and guidelines.
• Monitor and manage an assigned portfolio, including financial reviews and ongoing risk assessments.
• Evaluate market risks and business conditions within the assigned territory.
• Support product specialists in delivering a full suite of financial solutions.
• Handle complex credit exposures, including syndicated loans.
• May provide guidance to colleagues and help manage workflow.
• Some travel may be required.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
• 5+ years of commercial auto finance underwriting experience.
• 5+ years of experience working with multiple automotive dealer groups.
• 5+ years of commercial auto finance sales experience.
• Knowledge of local automotive dealer networks and existing relationships.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• Commercial financial analysis comprehension and review.
• Proven sales and negotiation abilities.
